We are in California!
We have made it to Peninsula Resort in Grass Valley, California. We arrived last Wednesday and are very glad we left early. We had beautiful weather on our trip down. This is Rollins Lake. 
This is the campground area. We are in a more wooded area. This is just down the path from us.
We finally found out how to wear out Sadie! She is loving the long walks and being outside with us all day.
She still need some training in manners as she still doesn't like anyone else petting her.
This looks like a physical and spiritual retreat.I can feel the calm...smell the pines...and the freshly caught fish on the grill. Got grits and hush puppies? You will be refreshed and ready for your awaiting friends.
..You are missed,Tanna and I are having withdrawal systems. The kind where we pass your shop, long to go in, talk with ya'll, smell and touch the fabric, look at the books and with a heavy heart we await your return. C & T

It was so good to hear from you! I have wondered how your trip was and how you all are doing. I have driven through on I-80 many times but have not been through Grass Valley many times...mostly when I was young. The lake and the area look like a very nice place to spend the summer! I am also glad it is a good experience for Sadie. You all would be miserable if she was miserable! It is still spring here with wind and rain and sun taking turns! I am in and out of the house the next two weeks staying with the folks while Fay and Steve are in Calif. Thank you again for the update! Happy Summer! Love, Judy
